I found a blurb on the Waco Wild West Century website that says, "Although relatively flat, there are some challenging hills to keep your heart pumping." I take that to mean it won't be excruciatingly bad.

I know nothing about the elevation profile for the century. I've looked pretty hard on the Internet and couldn't find anything. I made a post on bikeforums.net this morning asking this question.

Flat road with no head wind I can easily maintain 15 mph. Probably closer to 18 mph. Not sure what my avg speed is for the hill repeats. I'll have to look at that the next time I do them.

Bryan, how hilly is your century ride (what is the total elevation change?) You say you want to ride a 15 mph average, which is very reasonable to do, unless you have huge climbs.
On a flat road, no headwind, what is your average speed? When you do the hill repeats, what is your average speed?
I am asking, because you might be closer to your goal than you think.
