Home from Gainesville

Our stay down in Gainesville was much shorter than anticipated. My wife’s surgery went great and she’s back at home recovering. To be fully recovered takes 6-9 months and she’s limited to soft food right now with scrambled eggs being about the limit. I didn’t get to ride down in Gainesville but did prefer the route I was going to ride and am sorry I didn’t get to. It looked to be a nice route. I’m glad to be back home though.

    Glad to hear the surgery went well. Too bad you couldn't get a ride in, but your legs should be really fresh for the next one!

    @Al: Thanks and good point.

    @jaxgtr: Thanks! I wanted to ride today but when I got up it was raining and the wind has been gusting pretty good since. I guess it just wasn't meant to be today. Darn!

    Yea I hear you. I installed my new handlebars for my hybrid last night and thought I would get in a ride this afternoon once I got back from my sister's down south. I don't mind riding in the rain on that bike, but my wife's PC is running like cold tar and she left a message on both my bikes, my computer, the refrigerator and sent me an email that I need to fix it or she was going to throw it in the trash. So guess what I am doing now.

    @jaxgtr: Oh boy. You better listen to the other half!
