		<description>I do the same thing in the winter months and having a little adjust-ability is key. It doesn&#039;t have to be much because you can get some cold weather beanies that are thin but still keep you warm.</description>

		<description>I just learned that trying to cycle year round means my head size changes, at least, as seen by the helmet. With the weather going cold, I&#039;ll wear a beanie thing between my head and the helmet. On the way home, when it&#039;s warmer, I won&#039;t. It&#039;s nice to have a helmet with an adjustable retention mechanism. Seriously, if your helmet doesn&#039;t have this, it&#039;s time for a new helmet. :-)</description>

After I split my helmet a couple years ago I bought a Bell helmet because of their crash replacement policy. Bell will replace the helmet if it is involved in a crash for $35, just send the old one back along with the receipt and a description of the accident.</description>
