Yes, I've been quite lucky finding exactly what I want. I'm very patient. I can wait and check out all the Thrift stores instead of paying full price. You need the time to root through everything. Sometimes I'll go back a couple of weeks later and find something. I've managed to get high end name brands for my daughter as well. No one knows where I got it, especially her friends. Do you have any Thrift Stores near you?

I didn't think a thrift store would carry something as specific as cycling clothing. Do you normally find cycling clothes there?

I did look at the performance classic sleeveless but they didn't have my size in the store. Maybe I'll order one online.

The head band is OK but I don't think it's a long-term solution. I may have to break down and get some kind of skull cap.

HERE! HERE! Good for you for refusing to pay those outragious prices. I won't either. Some people laugh at me because I find incredible bargains at Value Village. Yes, I got practically new cycling shorts for $5.00. I actually found a jersey too with the zipper and back pockets. But it was a bit too tight. I tried to reason that I would eventually drop a few pounds and it would fit better but as many others, I have a long history of that kind of fantasy clothing in my closet so I didn't buy it. Most Thrift stores carry all the big names no matter what you're looking for

A hundred bucks for a jersey is outrageous. When the time is right for you, I'll recommend the Performance Classic sleeveless. I've been using them for years, and they have been totally adequate.

I still prefer the full skullcap to the head bands – probably due to the fact that I have hardly any hair.

Sleeveless jerseys are for triathletes, and people that want comfort. Cyclists? We just want pain.
