Cooking Healthy Oatmeal Video

Posted by on Jan 8, 2009 in Blog, Recipes | 5 comments

My little oatmeal article has spurred some awesome creativity from BikeCrazy. Sara took the time to put together a great video showing how she makes her super healthy oatmeal. That stuff just looks awesome!

It’s amazing when you see somebody else do something how easy it makes it look. I love the way she has everything containerized for easy prep. I need to do that to make it easier on myself because if it’s too hard I won’t do it.

You can catch more of BikeCrazy over at her website ByCycleTrips.blogspot.com.

Thanks Sara!

Gee,thanks for posting my video! I should have worn something other than my bathrobe! But it was morning and in the kitchen to whip up those oats. I have several other cooking videos in the editing stages and will get them added on to my YouTube channel as time permits between my daily bike rides. Gotta eat lots of hot oatmeal to keep warm cycling up here in the cold NE Ohio winter. . .

The bathrobe was fine. You couldn't even hardly see you in it. Thanks for taking the time to do it and I look forward to seeing the other videos you're making.

I’ve got a recipe I use for oatmeal fruit bars which are healthy and great on a ride (or for breakfast / late night snack etc etc). I hadn’t thought of doing a video but if you can put up with an English accent I’ll put one together for you.

@Hamish A: Oatmeal fruit bars sound awesome. If you put it together I’ll post it. I don’t mind the accent at all.
