		<description>You are spot on in the timing of eating but I don&#039;t think you are correct that missing breakfast hurt your performance. That is depending upon what time you started your ride and how long your ride was. For example if you do not have a 3 hour window to consume breakfast for a ride longer than 90 minutes than it is better to skip eating all together and start your fueling right away. Here&#039;s my pre race philosophy.
