An experienced cycling friend told me it's good form to ride with your knees in. Look at the Tour riders when the camera shoots them head-on. They all have their knees in. So if that's the way you pedal, you're in good company.

Hey Mike, thanks for the reply. Haven't seen you in a while but I know you've been up in the Northwest. I wondered about the women and triathlons too. That makes a lot of sense. I think I'm getting fitter as well. At least I'm feeling better.

Answers:
1. Resting heart rate for me is between 45 - 55

2. Not sure why but my theory is that more woman are getting into triathlons instead of pure cycling. I know several woman cyclists that started this way but then started to concentrate solely on the cycling portion.

3. Sounds like you are getting fitter. I don't have a problem riding a 100 miles in the morning and then spending the rest of the day running around with the kids.

4. Myself I just spin the way that comes natural to me which is probably with my knees over my feet. I suspect my knees do go out slightly following the tendency of my heels to rotates in slightly.
